This lower ground floor apartment just off the Portobello Road in Notting Hill was landlocked with no outside space, suffering from damp and lack of contact with the outside world. By re-configuring the internal layout and introducing an external courtyard towards the back we managed to get light, air and a garden view to every room. The value of the apartment increased dramatically, far outweighing the cost of the work.
