BEAUTY CLINIC

Spitalfields, London

On-going, 2009

Image: Proposal CAD

This Grade II-Listed, mixed use pair of buildings in Spitalfields, London was bought by the current owner’s father in the 1950s and was until recently run as London’s longest-serving barber shop.

The brief is to split the two properties into separate ownerships and re-model the spaces to suit my clients’  businesses: a semi-permanent make up clinic (similar to tattooing only less penetrative) and a shop for made-to-measure wedding dresses. Over time, we will also renovate the domestic spaces above.
