1 Dalby Square is the fourth project under the Dalby Square Townscape Heritage Initiative area we have completed in close collaboration with Thanet District Council and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The other projects are:

- 12 Arthur Road (Cecil Hotel)

  1. -20 Arthur Road (1880s Terraced House)

- Dalby Square Gardens

The aim of this project was to:

- Restore the period fabric and decorative features of the front façade and side gable walls.

- Reinstate period features where inappropriate changes have been made, (for example, the uPVC windows).

- Remove the existing modern brick cladding to the front entrance steps and adjacent front yard (including the lower ground floor front area).

- Repair the rear brick garden wall to the alleyway and the garden elevations.

- Replace the existing modern steel gate to the rear garden with a new painted timber gate equivalent.

- Repair the existing render to the end of terrace gable.

- Repair the roof finishes including the chimney stacks, pots etc.
